Product Description
Description: Selfcontained, fully operational Ignition Turret trainer, manufactured using realcomponents. Operation ofthe Ignition System can be observed through the transparent spark plug cover. Avariable spark plug gap adjuster will aid in the demonstration of how voltageis affected by an increased air gap. With the useof timing light, timing advance and retard can be observed, effected byvariable speed and vacuum control. Open circuit and high resistance faults areincluded on these trainers to aid diagnostic training. Testing ofthese Ignition Trainers can be carried out in the same manner as if still fittedto the original vehicle. Main TechnicalData: Fullyoperational Contact Breaker Ignition Turret Trainer, manufactured usingoriginal components Based on a FordDis Ignition system, complete with Inductive crank sensor, ignition module, coil pack, Temperature sensor, HT leads and 4 x spark plugs Distributoroperated via a variable speed control Inletmanifold vacuum simulated by a syringe With the useof timing light, advance and retard can be observed on the graduated scale bythe timing mark Variablespark plug gap adjustment, viewed through a clear Perspex cover Six faultinsertion comprising of high resistance and open circuit faults Turret casemounted on a metal base Powder coatedpaint finish
