The trainer is a Single Phase Power Supply unit used for various experiments requiring variable or fixed AC and DC voltages. The module is housed into a half size cabinet which is totally enclosed, portable and modular. Connections to the unit are made through 4 mm standard color-coded, five-way binding posts. This permits the utilization of banana-type jumper leads between the single phase power supply and other components in the circuit. Specifications and/or diagrams are silk-screened on the back of a clear-plastic front panel for ease of identification. The trainer is protected by a either a diode or thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. Requires a 120V 60Hz circuit.
