In this newconstruction, the magnetic coil and the valve body have been moved to thebottom compared with injectors used up to now and are positioned directly abovethe nozzle needle.
The long andsluggish pressure rod is no longer needed. In this way, quick gearshift times,also with solenoids, are possible. In addition, a spiral-shaped groove has beenmilled into the nozzle needle, resulting in an optimum injection jet of fuelwhen it leaves the injection nozzle.
