AC Magnetic Starter For 3 HP (2.2 KW) 60 HZ The AC Magnetic Starter For 3 HP (2.2 KW) 60 HZ is a three phase magnetic starter for 3hp equipment that is used to teach AC motor control and start motors with higher power and control them at distance. The starter is equipped with thermal protection facilities, a start-stop push-button station and two pilot lamps indicating respectively the supply and the run state of the motor driven. It is housed in a half-size totally enclosed portable modular unit. Connections to the unit are made through 4 mm standard color-coded, five-way binding posts. This permits the utilization of banana-type jumper leads between the power supply and other components in the circuit. Specifications and/or diagrams are silk-screened on the back of a clear-plastic front panel for ease of identification. The trainer is protected by a either a diode or thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. Requires a 120/208V 60Hz circuit.
