The Mini Hydroelectric Power Station With Pelton Turbine has been specially designed to evaluate the possibilities of application of a hydroelectric generator of small dimensions (500W). Such kind of plants are, nowadays, of extreme interest as they allow the autonomous production of quantities of electrical energy capable to meet the requirements of individual users starting from hydric resources which would otherwise be wasted. The plant is self-sufficient and consists of a stainless steel tank from which a pump draws the water which is sent to the turbine, so creating a suitable hydraulic head. An alternator connected to the turbine converts the hydraulic energy into electric energy the alternator is regulated by an electronic control system which maintains the generator under a constant load.
