Product Description

Experimental Module Journal Bearing Pressure Distribution

Technical Description of Experimental Module Journal Bearing Pressure Distribution

The unit enables the pressure distribution in a plain bearing with hydrodynamic lubrication to be displayed. The unit is intended for use with the basic module 13 measuring points that open out into measuring tubes are distributed around the periphery of the bearing shell. The pressure profile is indicated by the different heights reached by the lubricant in the tubes. Due to the radially adjustable bearing housing, the width of the gap can be adjusted in 1/100mm steps using a micrometer.
