TheFluid Energy Losses in Straight Pipes Tray provides hands on experimentationdesigned to demonstrate energy losses due to the geometry of the flow path atdifferent flow rates.

Utilisingthe service unit the experiments rapidly mount onto the multifunctional workpanel and is connected to the built-in water supply via quick connectcouplings. Differential pressure reading is taken using a digital manometeragainst varying flow rates.

Thetray includes the following Hydraulic Circuits:

Smoothand Roughened pipe 6mm diameter

Contractionand expansion 8mm  4mm  8mm diameters
