Product Description
Electric Single Component BalancesBoth balances have the same general design but a different capacity as stated below. The pressure surrounding the balance can vary between high vacuum and 1 bar above atmospheric pressure. Pressure changes have practically no influence on the force measurements. Both balances serve mainly for measurements of forces acting on models which are either towed with the help of a towing carriage through a towing tank, or which are tested in a circulating water channel.Technical Data of Resistance Dynamometers: The balances consist of steel tubes that are guided parallel to each other by way of the parallelogram with stainless steel flexures. With the balance, tubes with square sections are used, whilst rectangular sections are used. The tubes are provided with 2 flanges: one for attachment to the towing medium and the other for connection to the model. The transducer for measuring the force is arranged inside a metal bellows connecting the upper and the lower tube so that the measuring system is protected against water or humidity.Dimensions of Balances: Length 364 mmBreadth 80mmHeight 120 mmApprox.
